BP Summer Hill isn’t just a place to fill up anymore. It’s becoming a destination. The new service station and car wash, by Ozzbuild is taking on a whole new identity.
As BP rolls out fast chargers for electric vehicles, the way people use service stations is changing. Charging takes longer than refuelling, which means customers are staying put, grabbing a coffee, snacking, or simply waiting. That extra time calls for an environment that feels more welcoming, more engaging, and less like a stopgap.
Enter Studio Dennis, the creative force tasked with transforming BP Summer Hill into something memorable. Bright murals in millennial tones, think pink, aqua, orange, midnight blue, and red, wrap both inside and outside walls. The designs include bold motifs and playful characters, turning what could be a sterile corner into a burst of colour and culture.
Andrew from Studio Dennis was recently spotted up a ladder, brush in left hand, bringing the vision to life. It’s proof of how art can shift the atmosphere of a space, from purely functional to something that feels part of the neighbourhood.
BP Summer Hill now stands out not only for its EV readiness, barista coffee, and accessibility, but also as a showcase of how contemporary businesses can merge service with cultural style. Murals at Summer Hill are no longer just decoration; they’re part of redefining how we experience everyday places.
